If you've always wanted to learn floral design, or if you know a little about making bouquets but you'd like to know more, the Basic Floral Design class is for you.

The Basic Floral Design Class is open to anyone who wishes to learn about floral design.  All basic techniques are covered, from wiring and taping stems to assembling corsages, boutonnieres, centerpieces, showpieces and sympathy floral design.  This is a hands-on class (except for the sympathy class) where students are taught proper mechanics and the principles of design. 

Students will be provided with fresh flowers to make their designs, any necessary containers and hardware, and any necessary instructional handouts. 

The Basic Floral Design and Advanced Design classes are taught by Virginia Glover, a Texas Master Florist with more than 25 years experience.

The Advanced Floral Design class is from 6 pm - 8 pm on Mondays.  See the "Calendar" page on this website for class dates. The cost of the class is $50.00 and must be paid in full at the time of registration.  The $50.00 class fee is non-refundable.  To register for a class, or for more information, contact The Connection at 817-457-9869 and ask to speak to Kathy or Debbie.
